Job summary

FirstRand Limited's FNB division is seeking a Community Advisor in Pretoria on a 12-month hourly-rate contract. Deliver excellent service, attend to customer needs, and promote digital self-service within the POP network.

The role emphasizes sales support and governance compliance in a frontline setting. Ideal candidates hold Grade 12 and FAIS-aligned certifications; 1–3 years in financial services customer-facing roles are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: Grade 12 / NQF Level 4.
• Preferred: NQF Level 5 Certificate in Banking, Business Administration, Customer Service (FAIS).
• 1–3 years of experience in customer-facing environments, service delivery, or client support within financial services.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers promptly and professionally, ensuring needs are understood.
• Promote digital and Self-Service solutions to customers.
• Identify sales opportunities to support portfolio growth.
• Assist with migration to Self-Service and digital channels.
• Maintain accurate administration, reporting and governance compliance.
• Provide timely, accurate transaction processing and daily verification.
