Job summary

FNB is seeking a Community Advisor in Katlehong on a 12-month hourly-rate contract. You will deliver prompt, professional service, understand customer needs, and process requests efficiently while supporting sales and digital channel adoption.

The role emphasizes cross-selling, accurate administration, and governance compliance within a frontline branch environment. A Grade 12 (NQF4) is required; FAIS-recognised higher qualifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: Grade 12 / NQF Level 4.
• Preferred: NQF Level 5 Certificate in Banking, Business Administration, Customer Service, or related fields recognised by FAIS.
• 1–3 years in customer-facing environments or client support within financial services.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers promptly and professionally to meet their needs.
• Deliver an excellent customer experience aligned to service standards.
• Identify and maximise cross-sell opportunities to grow the portfolio.
• Support migration of customers to Self‑Service and digital channels.
• Provide accurate reporting and admin for management decisions.
