Job summary

FirstRand Bank (FNB) is seeking a Community Advisor in Vereeniging to provide prompt, customer-centric service within the POP network and support frontline sales and service delivery. The role emphasizes understanding customer needs and processing requests efficiently.

It is a 12-Month Hourly Rate Contract (FNB Branch) with duties spanning self-service adoption, cross-sell opportunities, and timely, accurate reporting to management.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: Grade 12 / NQF Level 4.
• Preferred qualification: NQF Level 5 Certificate in Banking, Business Administration, Customer Service, or related FAIS recognized fields.
• 1–3 years of experience in customer-facing environments, service delivery, or client support within financial services.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers promptly and professionally, ensuring needs are understood.
• Deliver an excellent customer experience aligned to service standards.
• Grow the active customer base and cross-sell opportunities.
• Support migration to Self-Service and digital channels.
• Provide accurate reporting and administration to support sales and service delivery.
