Job summary

FirstRand Limited, through its FNB branch network, seeks a Community Advisor on a 12-month hourly rate contract to deliver outstanding service. You will support customers, promote digital channels, and drive sales and service excellence in a frontline role.

Aligned to FNB standards, you will handle inquiries, process transactions, and contribute to client engagement while upholding governance and audit requirements in a Branch environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: Grade 12 / NQF Level 4
• Preferred qualification: NQF Level 5 Certificate in Banking, Business Administration, Customer Service, or related FAIS field
• 1-3 years of experience in customer-facing environments, service delivery, or client support within financial services

Responsibilities

• Serve customers promptly and professionally, ensuring their needs are understood
• Deliver an excellent customer experience aligned to Balanced Scorecard service standards
• Grow active customer accounts and support portfolio growth
• Drive migration to Self-Service and digital channels
• Identify cross-sell opportunities to strengthen customer relationships
• Maintain accurate reporting and timely information updates
• Ensure compliance with governance, legislative and audit requirements
