Placements24 in George seeks an experienced FP&A Manager to lead budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning for a rapidly growing retail group in the Western Cape.

You will build sophisticated models, dashboards and KPI reports, partner with department heads, and present insights to executive leadership. This demanding role requires strong analytical skills and advanced Excel/FP&A software proficiency in a fast-paced retail environment.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• MBA or CFA/CA(SA) preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of progressive FP&A experience.
• Proven expertise in financial modeling, valuation techniques and scenario planning.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and FP&A software.

Mansioni

• Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
• Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models for scenario analysis and long-range planning.
• Prepare monthly financial performance reports with variances, trends and drivers.
• Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives, new business opportunities and capex decisions.
• Collaborate with department heads and senior management to provide financial guidance.
• Monitor KPIs and develop dashboards to track performance.
• Identify risks and opportunities within the financial plan and propose mitigations.
• Contribute to FP&A process improvements and reporting tools.
• Present financial plans and forecasts to executive leadership and the Board.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of planning data.
