Placements24 in Mossel Bay, Western Cape is seeking an experienced Financial Planning Manager to oversee FP&A, budgeting, forecasting and strategic financial decision making. You will lead a team, drive best practices, and collaborate across departments in a hybrid work environment.

The role requires strong leadership, deep financial acumen, and a track record of managing complex financial operations to support the organization's growth and financial health.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A professional qualification (e.g., CA, CMA) is highly advantageous.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in financial planning, analysis, or a related role, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory capacity.
• Proven experience in developing and managing budgets and forecasts for complex organizations.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, scenario planning, and variance analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage the FP&A team.
• Oversee the development and execution of annual budgets and long-term forecasts.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide commentary on financial performance.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions.
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for executive management and board meetings.
• Collaborate with department heads to align business objectives with financial plans.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in financial planning.
• Ensure integrity and accuracy of financial data and reporting.
• Mentor and develop team members to foster high performance.
