Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Management Consultant with FP&A expertise to join our client in Sandton, Gauteng. You will help enhance forecasting, budgeting, and decision-making by building robust financial models and dashboards for diverse clients.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Finance/Accounting/Economics and has at least 4 years in FP&A or related consulting, with advanced Excel skills and familiarity with Anaplan or Oracle Hyperion. Hybrid work is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years FP&A, corporate finance or management consulting with a financial focus.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and Excel.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with Anaplan or Oracle Hyperion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.
• Analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and drivers.
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial accuracy and efficiency.
• Support clients in developing robust financial reporting frameworks.
• Collaborate with client finance teams to understand needs and challenges.
• Prepare presentations and reports to communicate financial insights to stakeholders.
• Assist in the implementation of FP&A best practices and tools.
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives.
• Contribute to the development of financial dashboards and performance metrics.
