Placements24 in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga, seeks a meticulous Quality Assurance Technician to ensure all products meet stringent quality and safety standards.

You will perform routine tests and inspections, document results, calibrate equipment, and support HACCP/ISO 22000 compliance while contributing to continuous improvement in a fast-paced production environment. This role requires strong analytical skill, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and in a team.

Competenze

• National Diploma or equivalent in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in QA/QC in food & beverage.
• Experience with laboratory testing and analytical equipment.
• Familiarity with HACCP, ISO 22000, and quality management systems.

Mansioni

• Perform routine QC tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
• Conduct laboratory analyses following established procedures.
• Ensure products meet quality and safety standards before release.
• Document results and maintain records of QC activities.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment for accuracy.
• Investigate deviations and assist root-cause analysis.
• Support implementation/maintenance of HACCP and ISO 22000.
