Placements24 is assisting a well-established food & beverage manufacturer in Pretoria, Gauteng, to hire a Quality Assurance Manager. You will lead the QA team, drive QMS development and ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, and regulatory standards across the full product lifecycle.

You will collaborate with R&D and production, implement CAPA actions, maintain documentation and traceability, and champion a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the Pretoria facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field.
• Master’s degree is a plus.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop, implement, and manage the QMS in line with HACCP, ISO 22000, and GMP.
• Oversee QA activities: raw material, in-process, and finished product QC.
• Lead and mentor the QA team with training and performance management.
• Conduct internal audits and risk assessments for continuous improvement.
• Investigate complaints and CAPA to ensure corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with R&D and production to embed quality in new products.
