Purpose of the Role:
To lead and coordinate the Food & Beverage operation, ensuring smooth daily service, strong team performance, excellent guest experiences and effective operational control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing the day-to-day Food & Beverage operation
• Leading, motivating and developing the F&B team
• Ensuring consistently high standards of service, presentation and guest satisfaction
• Overseeing restaurant service, staff scheduling and operational requirements
• Monitoring stock control, ordering, wastage and cost management
• Managing F&B budgets and contributing to achieving revenue and profitability targets
• Handling guest feedback and resolving service-related issues professionally
• Working closely with the kitchen and other departments to ensure seamless service
• Training staff and maintaining service standards and procedures
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety and hygiene requirements

Criteria:

• Previous experience as an F&B Manager or senior F&B management role
• Hospitality experience within a quality hotel, lodge, restaurant, wine estate or similar environment
• Strong operational and people-management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Confident in managing a busy, high-pressure service environment
• Strong understanding of F&B cost control, stock management and service standards
• Professional, hands-on and guest-focused approach
• Ability to lead by example and build a motivated team
• Availability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays as required
• High level of computer literacy and hospitality operating systems
• Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English
