Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented FMCG Supply Chain Analyst to join the Richards Bay operations team in KwaZulu-Natal. The role focuses on optimizing the flow of goods from production to consumers, improving inventory management, logistics, and distribution processes.

The ideal candidate will have strong quantitative skills and a solid understanding of supply chain dynamics in FMCG. You will work with procurement, production, and sales teams to drive efficiency and cost savings through

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in supply chain analysis, preferably within FMCG.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and supply chain management software.

Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities in inventory, logistics, and warehousing.
• Develop and maintain supply chain performance metrics and reports to track KPIs.
• Collaborate with procurement, production, and sales, and with external suppliers and logistics providers to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist in forecasting demand and optimizing inventory levels to meet customer needs while minimizing costs.
• Implement and monitor improvements to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
