Job summary

Placements24 seeks a detail-oriented FMCG Supply Chain Analyst to join our operations team in Centurion, South Africa. You will analyze data, identify bottlenecks, and drive improvements in inventory, logistics and demand planning to ensure a cost-efficient flow from production to consumer.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years' experience in supply chain analytics, with strong Excel and SQL skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Supply Chain or Logistics.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Supply Chain Analyst, FMCG preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel and SQL; familiarity with supply chain software.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends and cost reduction opportunities.
• Develop and maintain inventory management systems for optimal stock levels.
• Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and sales to forecast demand.
• Monitor KPIs for delivery times, costs, and process efficiency.
• Identify and implement process improvements across the supply chain.
• Support relationships with logistics providers and suppliers.
