Placements24 is seeking a seasoned National Sales Manager to drive sales across South Africa from its Midrand base. You will shape national sales strategies, lead a diverse team of regional managers, and build lasting relationships with distributors, retailers, and key accounts to meet ambitious targets.

The role requires 7+ years in progressively senior sales roles within FMCG, strong leadership, and a strategic mindset to expand market share and revenue.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive sales experience with at least 3 years in a senior management role in FMCG.
• Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies in a competitive market.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in sales forecasting and performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive national sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate regional sales teams for high performance and development.
• Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges.
• Build and maintain relationships with major clients, distributors, and key stakeholders.
• Oversee budget management for the sales department and optimize resource allocation.
