Placements24 is seeking a Production Supervisor for our FMCG client in Bloemfontein. You will oversee a production line, drive targets for volume, quality and efficiency, and maintain a safe working environment.

You will lead a team of operators, coordinate with maintenance and QA, monitor schedules, control waste, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives on the floor. This role offers stability and growth within a well-established company.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Production Supervisor in FMCG manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Experience in Bloemfontein or Free State preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide a team of production operators on the assigned production line.
• Ensure adherence to production schedules and targets, making adjustments as needed.
• Monitor product quality and implement corrective actions to maintain standards.
• Enforce health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Train new employees and provide coaching and development.
• Conduct daily production meetings and provide performance reports.
• Manage efficient use of raw materials and minimize waste.
• Collaborate with maintenance and QA to resolve issues promptly.
• Promote a positive and productive work environment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives on the production floor.
