Placements24 is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations in our FMCG facility in Benoni. You will ensure efficient production output, maintain quality standards, and manage a team of production line workers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturing principles and excellent leadership skills, with a commitment to achieving production targets in a fast-moving consumer goods environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a technical qualification or degree in a related field is a plus.
• 3-5 years of experience in a production supervision role, preferably in FMCG manufacturing.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a production team effectively.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Good communication and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the production team to meet production schedules and targets.
• Monitor production processes, ensuring adherence to quality control standards and safety regulations.
• Train, mentor, and motivate production staff, fostering a culture of performance and teamwork.
• Identify and resolve production issues and inefficiencies promptly.
• Maintain accurate production records, including output, waste, and downtime.
