Placements24 in Paarl, Western Cape, is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead our client’s FMCG manufacturing operations. You will oversee daily production, optimise processes, and drive safety and quality standards while guiding a dedicated production team to meet demanding targets.

The role demands strong leadership, hands-on manufacturing knowledge, and a proven ability to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment, FMCG.
• Proven leadership skills in managing and motivating a team.
• Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and health & safety standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in production planning and reporting.
• A relevant technical qualification or degree is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet output targets and quality standards.
• Manage, train, and motivate a team of production line workers, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Monitor production processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations in the production area.
• Oversee equipment operation and maintenance, coordinating with the maintenance team for timely repairs.
• Maintain accurate production records, including output, waste, and downtime, reporting to production management.
