Job summary

Placements24 is assisting a FMCG producer in Welkom, Free State to find a diligent Production Supervisor to oversee manufacturing operations. You will guide a production team to meet targets safely and with high quality.

Responsibilities include supervising daily activities, boosting productivity through process improvements, and maintaining KPI-driven production records while enforcing health, safety, and hygiene standards on the floor.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing environment, preferably FMCG.
• Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety procedures.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in Welkom.
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards.
• Manage and motivate a team of production operators, providing guidance and training.
• Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions for improvement.
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and hygiene regulations on the production floor.
• Maintain accurate production records and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
