Job summary

Placements24 partners with an FMCG manufacturer in Mahikeng to recruit a Production Shift Leader. This hands-on role manages a production shift to hit targets for volume, quality, and cost, while enforcing safety and GMP practices.

You will train and mentor operators, monitor processes, coordinate with maintenance, and maintain accurate records. A minimum of 3 years in production and supervisory experience is required, with willingness to work rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a production environment, FMCG preferred.
• Experience in supervisory or team leader role.
• Knowledge of GMP, safety standards, and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a production shift to meet targets.
• Ensure adherence to schedules, quality, and safety standards.
• Monitor equipment, address issues, and troubleshoot.
• Train and mentor operators; enforce GMP.
