Premier FMCG (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Market Data Analyst to analyse market data and establish competitive sets. You will track market trends, benchmark growth, analyze competitor activities, and provide data-driven insights to forecast new product launches.

You will build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support strategic decision-making. 2–3 years FMCG experience and a degree in Business/Marketing/Data Science are essential, with strong Excel skills and attention to

Sales environment desirable.

Responsibilities

To analyse market trends, in order to contribute to the sales strategies effectively
To analyse category growth, in order to benchmark the business
To analyse competitor activities in order to understand the trends in the market place and gain competitive advantage
To provide relevant data in order to contribute to the forecasting of new product launches
To interpret the market data in order to provide the business with relevant insights
To develop and maintain relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders in order to ensure beneficial and trusting business relationship
To perform ad-hoc tasks as and when required
