Job summary

Time Personnel in Cape Town seeks an experienced operations and logistics professional to lead client contracts, manage budgets, and drive value for clients daily.

You will serve as the primary liaison between clients and our Consumer business, build strong relationships, and ensure service levels are met while controlling costs and reviewing monthly financials.

Qualifications

• Grade 12/Matric qualification is required.
• Relevant tertiary qualification or degree.
• Experience in operations, logistics or related field.
• Strong budgeting and costing capabilities.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Willing to travel and have own transport.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual review and renewal of client contracts.
• Prepare and manage client budgets.
• Serve as main client contact for Consumer business.
• Maintain client relationships and service levels.
• Plan monthly performance meetings and client reviews.
• Monitor costs against cost-to-serve models.
• Assist with onboarding of new client accounts.
• Review and authorise monthly invoices per contracts.
• Identify cost reductions and productivity gains.
• Monitor P&L against KPIs and targets.
• Collaborate with clients on value creation.
• Oversee contract amendments and reconciliations.
• Negotiate terms with clients and pursue new business opportunities.

REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12 / Matric qualification
• Practical experience with advanced budgeting and ABC costing
• Relevant tertiary qualification or degree
• Between 5 and 10 years’ experience in operations, logistics, or a related field
• Strong understanding of supply chain operations and processes
• Demonstrated ability to manage changing business requirements and priorities
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Strong leadership, relationship-building, and people management skills
• Ability and willingness to travel when required
• Valid own transport is essential

DUTIES

• Lead the annual review and renewal of client contracts, ensuring all requirements are addressed.
• Prepare, manage, and regularly review budgets tailored to individual client requirements.
• Serve as the main point of contact between the client and the Consumer business.
• Build and maintain effective client relationships while ensuring agreed service levels are met.
• Plan and facilitate regular monthly performance meetings and client reviews.
• Ensure operational costs remain aligned with established cost-to-serve models.
• Assist with the implementation and integration of newly acquired client accounts.
• Review and authorise monthly invoices in accordance with contractual agreements.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs, improve productivity, and increase operational efficiency.
• Monitor financial performance, including P&L results, against agreed KPIs and targets.
• Work collaboratively with clients to identify and deliver opportunities for joint value creation.
• Oversee contract amendments, financial adjustments, and reconciliation or true-up activities.
• Evaluate, review, and negotiate contractual terms with existing and prospective clients.
• Identify potential new business opportunities and contribute to client acquisition and growth.
