Placements24 is seeking an experienced FMCG Supply Chain Manager to optimize operations in Centurion, Gauteng. You will oversee procurement, logistics, warehousing, and distribution, driving efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and on-time delivery to market.

The role demands a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least seven years of progressive supply chain experience, with strong negotiation skills and proficiency in ERP, WMS, and TMS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with significant FMCG sector exposure.
• Proven ability to manage complex logistics, warehousing, and inventory operations.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience with supplier contracts.
• Proficiency in ERP, WMS, and TMS software and data analysis tools.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and strategic planning capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end supply chain including inventory, warehousing, transport, and distribution for FMCG products.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies with suppliers to ensure cost savings and quality.
• Oversee logistics network for timely, cost-effective deliveries to customers and retailers.
• Maintain robust inventory control to minimize stockouts and reduce holding costs.
• Forge strong supplier and internal stakeholder relationships to ensure seamless operations.
• Drive continuous improvement using data analysis and performance metrics to cut costs.
