Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a certificate or diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Warehousing is beneficial.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in inventory control, stock management, or warehouse operations, preferably within FMCG or logistics.
• Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Upington, Northern Cape region is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels within the warehouse.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventory counts.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and variances.
• Implement and adhere to strict inventory control procedures and best practices.
• Monitor stock movement, including receiving, put-away, picking, and dispatch.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of products to maintain quality and prevent damage.
• Utilize inventory management software (WMS) to track stock and generate reports.
• Collaborate with warehouse operations and logistics teams to ensure efficient stock flow.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in inventory management.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment.
