Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; professional qualification such as CA(SA), ACCA, or CIMA is essential.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management, preferably FMCG.
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS, South African tax laws, and corporate finance principles.
• Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily accounting operations including AP/AR, payroll, and GL.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements per IFRS and SA regs.
• Develop and manage annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Implement and maintain robust internal control systems.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and banks.
• Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to senior management.

This senior role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls. You will ensure the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial data and provide strategic financial insights to support business decisions.
