Placements24 is seeking a motivated Field Sales Executive to cover Mossel Bay, Western Cape. You will drive sales growth, build strong retailer relationships and ensure optimal product visibility across retail channels.

The ideal candidate has proven field sales experience in FMCG, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a willingness to travel within Mossel Bay. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are essential, with CRM and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; a tertiary qualification in Sales or Marketing is advantageous.
• Proven experience in field sales within FMCG.
• CRM software and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet/exceed targets in Mossel Bay territory.
• Build and nurture relationships with retailers, store owners, managers and buyers.
• Promote and sell a wide range of FMCG products with optimal shelf placement.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand customer base in Mossel Bay area.
• Monitor competitors and market trends to adapt strategies.
• Manage inventory levels and ensure timely order processing and delivery.
• Provide excellent customer service and address inquiries promptly.
• Conduct regular market visits and provide product feedback to management.
• Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis.
