Job summary

Tiger Brands is seeking a Fleet Coordinator to oversee the daily operation of the company’s fleet at Germiston, ensuring vehicle availability, cost control, and maintenance. The role supports operational continuity by optimizing fleet utilization and compliance with policies.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of FMCG experience, a valid driver’s license, and is prepared to work long hours, weekends and public holidays. This is an onsite role at Germiston.

Qualifications

• Matric or equivalent qualification is required.
• A National Diploma or 3-year degree in Supply Chain will be advantageous.
• Minimum 3–5 years of FMCG experience is required.
• A valid drivers’ license is mandatory.
• Willingness to work long hours, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee day-to-day fleet operations to ensure vehicle availability and maintenance.
• Manage and monitor service providers, route efficiency, and transport costs.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and ensure compliance with policies and statutory requirements.
• Assist with driver management, scheduling, and performance monitoring.
• Review and reconcile vehicle-related expenses, insurance claims, and incident reports.
• Support GPS tracking oversight, speed, and fuel usage monitoring.
• Facilitate vehicle repairs approvals and liaise with panel beaters and workshops.
