Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in fitness industry management, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven experience developing and executing successful business and marketing strategies in the fitness sector.
• Strong understanding of fitness operations, equipment maintenance, and health and safety regulations.
• Exceptional leadership, team-building, and motivational skills.
• Demonstrated financial acumen, including budget management and P&L responsibility.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve revenue and profitability goals for the fitness centre.
• Oversee the management and performance of all fitness centre staff, including trainers, receptionists, and maintenance personnel.
• Manage the operational budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial targets are met.
• Develop, implement, and promote a wide range of fitness programs, classes, and personal training services.
• Drive membership sales and retention strategies, ensuring a high level of member satisfaction.
• Ensure the facility is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and equipment functionality.
• Lead and motivate the fitness team, providing ongoing training, performance feedback, and career development opportunities.
• Manage marketing and promotional activities to enhance brand awareness and attract new members.
• Oversee inventory management for fitness supplies, equipment, and amenities.
• Respond to member inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
