Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an energetic Fitness Center Manager to oversee Randburg's established facility. You will lead staff, ensure exceptional member service, drive membership growth, and maintain facilities to the highest standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in fitness center leadership, a proven track record in membership sales, and strong skills in operations, budgeting, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in fitness center management or related leadership role.
• Proven track record in membership sales and staff management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily fitness center operations and facility maintenance.
• Lead, train, and motivate fitness instructors, personal trainers, and front desk staff.
• Develop strategies to increase membership sales and retention.
• Manage the sales process from lead to close.
• Ensure the facility is clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times.
• Manage inventory, equipment maintenance, and procurement of supplies.
• Develop and execute fitness programs and events to engage members.
• Handle member inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
• Manage budgets, track financial performance, and report on key metrics.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
