Placements24 is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Lead for a Cape Town fintech client. You will build and scale the recruitment function, partner with hiring managers, and guide a small team of recruiters to deliver end-to-end hiring across all levels.

This role supports remote or hybrid work and focuses on employer branding, sourcing optimization, and strong candidate experiences to meet staffing needs in a competitive market.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in talent acquisition with 2–3 years in leadership.
• Proven track record scaling tech/fintech teams.
• Expertise with ATS, CRM, and recruitment tech.
• Strong employer branding and candidate experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR/Business preferred.
• Experience with diversity and inclusion recruiting.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Remote/hybrid work capability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive talent acquisition strategies to attract high-caliber candidates across all levels and departments.
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and screening to interviewing, offering, and onboarding.
• Lead and mentor a team of talent acquisition specialists, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Develop and execute employer branding initiatives to enhance the company's profile as an employer of choice.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.
• Partner closely with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements and provide expert recruitment guidance.
• Utilize various sourcing channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and recruitment agencies.
• Track and report on key recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, source effectiveness).
• Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
• Stay updated on market trends, compensation benchmarks, and best practices in talent acquisition.
• Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and vendors.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies related to talent acquisition.
