Red Ember Recruitment, on behalf of our client, is seeking a professional Waiter to join a luxury hospitality establishment in Franschhoek. Deliver an exceptional dining experience aligned with fine dining standards, ensuring warm, discreet, yet efficient service.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, knowing the menu and wine list, upselling dishes, handling feedback professionally, and accurately processing transactions on Easipos.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ waitering experience in a fine dining environment.
• Sound knowledge of cocktails, wines, spirits, and beverages.
• Proficiency in Easipos POS system.
• Matric Certificate (essential).
• Strong upsell and guest engagement skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and maintain discretion.

Responsibilities

• Greet all guests warmly and professionally in accordance with establishment standards.
• Provide friendly, courteous, and professional service at all times.
• Understand the sequence of service and anticipate guest needs.
• Be fully aware of table allocations, dietary requirements and special requests.
• Inform the kitchen of guest food requirements or allergies.
• Have complete knowledge of the menu and wine list to confidently assist guests.
• Upsell dishes, wines and menu items to enhance dining experience.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and escalate when necessary.
• Enter all transactions into the Easipos system accurately.
