Placements24 in Kimberley, Northern Cape, seeks an experienced Sous Chef with a focus on fine dining to support the Executive Chef in delivering premium culinary experiences. You will help develop menus, lead kitchen operations in the Chef's absence and ensure top quality and consistency across all dishes.

You will mentor a team of culinary professionals, drive food safety and HACCP compliance, and contribute to cost control and menu innovation in a demanding, high-end catering environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years as Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in fine dining or high-quality catering.
• Formal culinary qualification from a recognised institution.
• Proven leadership of kitchen teams and operations.
• Strong knowledge of fine dining techniques, presentation and flavor profiles.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation and HACCP principles.
• Proficient in inventory management, cost control and recipe costing.
