Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in fine dining or high-end catering.
• Formal culinary qualification from a recognized institution.
• Strong leadership, attention to detail, and excellence in food quality and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, including food prep, cooking, and plating for catered events.
• Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff, ensuring high standards and adherence to recipes.
• Maintain strict control over food quality, consistency, and presentation.
• Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and costing for new and existing offerings.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Manage inventory, stock rotation, and ordering to minimize waste and control costs.
• Support Head Chef in training new kitchen team members and maintain a clean, organized kitchen.
• Step in as acting Head Chef in their absence.
