Smith Garb is looking for an experienced financial leader to oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cashbook and Finance Administration in a large Shared Services environment.

You will drive accurate reporting, monthly reconciliations, and timely submissions while mentoring a sizeable team and coordinating with auditors, bankers, and partners. Strong JDE/Hyperion skills and a customer-focused mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable/Services Manager roles.
• Experience with Shared Services is advantageous.
• SAICA articles would be an advantage.
• Experience with JDE and Hyperion is beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cashbook and Finance Administration.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting, monthly reconciliations and timely submissions.
• Manage and develop a large Financial Services team, ensuring SLAs and deadlines are met.
• Monitor cash flow forecasts and foreign exchange requirements.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain strong relationships with auditors, bankers and business partners.
• Ensure compliance with financial legislation, regulations and governance requirements.
• Support business planning, training and performance management initiatives.
