Job summary

Headhunters is seeking a finance manager to oversee general accounting, management accounts and budgeting. The role includes cash flow forecasting, banking relations, and statutory compliance across VAT, EMP returns, and ROE.

The ideal candidate will have an accounting qualification, 3–5 years in a finance leadership role, and familiarity with Sage ERP and barcode systems. Staff transport is provided.

Qualifications

• Matrics/Grade 12 completed.
• Accounting degree or diploma required.
• 3–5 years experience as finance manager.

Responsibilities

• General accounting and management accounts.
• Annual budgeting and forecasting (monthly).
• Regular cash flow forecasting (monthly).
• General banking duties.
• Foreign currency banking contracts (FEC).
• Creditor processing and payments.
• Debtors invoicing and collections.
• Retail invoicing and wholesale invoicing backup.
• Monthly statements and reconciliations.
• Query resolution and issue tracking.
• Statutory returns: VAT monthly, EMP 201 monthly, EMP 501 biannually, ROE annually.
• HR tasks: payroll, records, contracts, banking relations, audits and financial statements.
• IT: hardware maintenance, online shop, EDI maintenance, system development, reconciliations.
