Job summary

TotalEnergies in South Africa seeks a seasoned Finance & Administration leader to oversee accounting, budgeting, treasury, tax and reporting for multiple assets. You will work with various project teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive efficient financial governance in a growing affiliate.

The role covers cost control, annual statements, cash flow management, and liaison with lenders and auditors, with a focus on process improvement and robust financial reporting.

Qualifications

• REIPPPP project bidding to financial close experience.
• Chartered accountant (CA) with at least 6 years post-qualification experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Business Central (MBC) is an advantage.
• Understanding of local regulatory and fiscal changes affecting assets.
• Detail oriented and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Proven management, communication and business skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cost streams and compare them with the budget.
• Lead Budget and Long-Term Plan (LTP) processes.
• Coordinate head office monthly reporting and closure forecasts.
• Manage cash flow and approvals for payments/invoicing.
• Prepare financial reports and annual financial statements.
• Liaise with operational teams (HSSE, Project Execution, Asset Management, Business Development).
• Coordinate with external auditors and advisers.
• Contract management and governance duties.
• HR Administration and payroll-related tasks for TERSA.
• Ad hoc duties and support social investment programmes.
