Job summary

SET Recruitment Consultants presents a Cape Town-based Financial Manager role in Renewable Energy & Investments. The position is office-based, working closely with the CFO to provide oversight, reporting and strategic financial support across the Group.

The ideal candidate will manage monthly accounts, tax compliance, intercompany activity and budgeting while driving system improvements and process efficiencies within a dynamic energy-focused portfolio.

Qualifications

• CA(SA) qualification is essential.
• 2–5 years' post-articles experience.
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Experience across multiple entities and jurisdictions is advantageous.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and understanding of tax, audits and payroll.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts, financial reports and group packs.
• Oversee tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Manage month-end processes, journals, reconciliations and intercompany activity.
• Oversee payroll for SA and international entities.
• Coordinate audits and assist external auditors.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting with CFO and Finance team.
• Support insurance activity and finance system improvements.
