Job summary

Yellow Door Energy in South Africa is seeking a Finance Manager to partner with local leadership, overseeing project-financed renewable energy projects and operating assets, including drawdowns, funding flow, and covenant reporting.

You will manage financial and management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, tax, treasury, cash flow and controls, while collaborating with Corporate Finance, Asset Management and Treasury to ensure accurate, timely financial outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• 8+ years of relevant finance experience.
• Experience in renewable energy, power, infrastructure or project-financed assets.
• Exposure to project finance execution or administration.
• Billing, receivables, covenant monitoring, lender reporting.
• Strong IFRS and SA tax reporting knowledge.
• Strong Excel and financial analysis with high accuracy.
• Ability to work with lenders, advisers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support corporate finance and stakeholders with financial administration of project-financed renewable energy projects.
• Coordinate drawdowns, conditions precedent, flow-of-funds documentation, lender submissions and supporting schedules.
• Liaise with lenders and internal teams on day-to-day financing administration.
• Reconcile funding requests with budgets, models and invoices.
• Oversee operating assets' billing, receivables and covenant monitoring.
• Ensure forecasts reflect asset performance and operational events.
• Lead financial reporting, accounting, budgeting, forecasting and treasury for SA entities.
• Provide clear financial insights to local leadership and Group teams.
• Maintain audit-ready financial controls and documentation.
