Job summary

You will coach technicians, perform on-site assistance, and provide critical feedback to improve equipment performance and cost metrics in a demanding mining environment.
Qualifications
- Grade 12/N3 and a relevant trade certificate.
- 10 years maintenance experience in mining environments.
- Experience with Sandvik Rock Drills.
- Proficient in English; able to operate in UG mining environments.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to end users and service personnel on complex issues.
- Coach and train Technicians and Specialists.
- Provide feedback to Product Support Managers for improvements to equipment or operations.
- Provide technical expertise to support sales and business development to customers.
- Assist in compiling data to process warranty claims and machine improvements.
- Review spare parts recommendations with Parts BLM organization.
- Provide information on Machine Life Operating Costs (MLOC) to PSM.
- Investigate warranty claims proactively and reactively to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Assist PSM with field-testing and trials of new products and updated components.
- Perform equipment demonstrations in a safe manner.
- Provide on-site technical assistance to resolve issues.
- Engage in relationship marketing and market services.
