Job summary

Chainlink Recruitment is seeking a Customer Support Technician based in Kempton Park, with travel to customer sites as required. The role covers installation, commissioning, maintenance and on-site support for mobile crushing and screening equipment.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in field service, strong mechanical/electrical/hydraulic fault-finding skills, and the ability to work independently under pressure while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' field experience in crushing & screening, heavy mobile equipment, or a closely related industry
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and construction methods
• Experience in materials handling and/or mobile equipment
• Proven ability to work to high technical and quality standards
• Comfortable working independently and under time pressure
• Computer literate (basic reporting, email, service systems)

Responsibilities

• Equipment Installation - Install and commission mobile crushing and screening equipment on customer sites
• Field Maintenance - Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and servicing
• Breakdown Response - Attend to repairs, breakdowns and urgent service work
• Fault-Finding - Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues
• Modifications & Warranty Work - Carry out updates, modifications and warranty repairs
• Service Documentation - Complete accurate service reports and maintain service history
• On-Site Training - Provide operational and safety training to customer personnel
• Parts Control - Manage parts issued and returned with accurate documentation
• Asset Care - Maintain company vehicles, tools and equipment to the highest standard
• Customer Interaction - Represent the brand professionally and uphold company values
