Our Customer Support Technicians are the face of the organisation in the field. In this role, you will ensure that crushing and screening equipment operates at peak performance while delivering exceptional customer service, technical expertise, and professional on-site support.
This position requires a strong blend of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic fault-finding skills, field service experience, and the ability to work independently under pressure. You will represent the brand's values, reliability, and professionalism at all customer sites.
Equipment Installation - Install and commission mobile crushing and screening equipment on customer sites
Field Maintenance - Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and servicing
Breakdown Response - Attend to repairs, breakdowns and urgent service work
Fault-Finding - Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues
Modifications & Warranty Work - Carry out updates, modifications and warranty repairs
Service Documentation - Complete accurate service reports and maintain service history
On-Site Training - Provide operational and safety training to customer personnel
Parts Control - Manage parts issued and returned with accurate documentation
Asset Care - Maintain company vehicles, tools and equipment to the highest standard
Customer Interaction - Represent the brand professionally and uphold company values
Minimum 5 years' field experience in crushing & screening, heavy mobile equipment, or a closely related industry
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and construction methods
Experience in materials handling and/or mobile equipment
Proven ability to work to high technical and quality standards
Comfortable working independently and under time pressure
Computer literate (basic reporting, email, service systems)
One of the following (or equivalent):
Qualified Millwright (Trade)
Qualified Fitter (Trade)
National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Strong mechanical, electrical, and/or hydraulic fault-finding skills
Solutions-focused and enjoys solving technical problems
Takes ownership and accountability for work done on customer sites
Communicates clearly and professionally
Resilient and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail - both technically and in documentation
Builds trust through reliability, safety awareness and consistent follow-through
