Gea Group is seeking a Field Service Engineer to execute planned and unplanned after-sales activities, ensuring high-quality workmanship and strong customer relationships across GEA Equipment, Solutions and Service.

The role covers installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and field support, with travel across Africa and a focus on safety, governance, and continuous improvement. A technical Artisan qualification and 5+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Certificate, Diploma or Artisan qualification in a technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in the industry.
• Completed Health & Safety training courses.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshooting of GEA and other manufacturer's equipment.
• Perform planned and unplanned services, maintenance and repairs.
• Installation and commissioning of equipment.
• Assist in service project execution activities.
• Overhauling of ammonia equipment.
• Travel for business support in Africa.
• Prepare quotation estimates for repairs and maintenance.
