About the Role

You will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment operates at peak performance, providing essential technical expertise, and fostering strong client relationships. The successful candidate will be a proactive problem-solver, capable of working independently and effectively communicating technical solutions. This position offers a blend of on-site work and the flexibility of some remote coordination, contributing to the company's reputation for excellence in service delivery within the Western Cape region.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and commission new equipment at customer locations.
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs to prevent downtime.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, both mechanical and electrical.
• Provide on-site training and technical support to client personnel.
• Document all service activities, including repairs, maintenance, and client interactions.
• Collaborate with the engineering team on product improvements and feedback from the field.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a field service or technical support role.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and interpretation of technical manuals/blueprints.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
• Ability to travel frequently within the assigned region and occasionally beyond.
• A relevant technical qualification or trade certification is highly desirable.
