Placements24 is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their technical team in Mossel Bay. The role blends on-site installation, maintenance and repair of specialized equipment with remote administrative tasks and reporting.

You will travel to client sites, perform preventative maintenance, train end-users, diagnose issues with diagnostic tools, and collaborate with the engineering team to improve products.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of field service or technical support experience.
• Ability to read technical schematics and use diagnostic equipment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Experience with hybrid work arrangements balancing field travel with remote administration.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer relationship management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair complex equipment at customer sites.
• Perform preventative maintenance checks and ensure optimal equipment performance.
