Placements24 is seeking a Field Service Electrical Engineer to provide on-site technical support for advanced electrical systems in and around Nelspruit. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment while ensuring maximum uptime for clients.

The role requires a Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, 4+ years field experience, and strong communication skills to explain technical solutions clearly. Travel within the service area is expected and a company vehicle is provided.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in electrical engineering or related technical discipline.
• Strong ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair electrical systems.
• Excellent customer service and clear communication with clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment and systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, providing timely solutions.
• Conduct preventative maintenance checks and recommend upgrades or repairs.
• Provide technical training and support to client personnel.
• Prepare detailed service reports with findings and actions taken.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols during field operations.
