Job summary

Kontak Recruitment is seeking two Security Sales Representatives for an in-branch field-based role in Edenvale, Johannesburg. The position involves driving new business across commercial and residential markets through physical guarding, armed response and integrated security systems.

This 3-month fixed-term, on-site role requires confidence engaging decision-makers, proactive prospecting, and strong knowledge of security solutions to meet sales targets and maintain a robust pipeline.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' proven outbound B2B and B2C sales experience within the security industry.
• Valid South African driver’s licence – essential.
• Clean criminal record, subject to background checks and police clearance.

Responsibilities

• Proactively generate new business through cold calling, door-to-door prospecting, site visits and industry networking.
• Identify and qualify new commercial, residential and industrial sales opportunities.
• Conduct security risk assessments and site audits; build and maintain an active sales pipeline across physical guarding, armed response and electronic security.
• Present customised security solutions based on client requirements and prepare accurate quotations and tenders.
• Negotiate with prospective clients, close new contracts and achieve targets.
