About the Role

Our client, a well-established manufacturer of high-quality industrial equipment, is actively seeking a dynamic Field Sales Representative to join their team in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal. This is a critical role focused on expanding market share within the industrial sector by building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and new clients. You will be responsible for understanding customer needs, proposing effective solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional service. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, a thorough understanding of industrial sales processes, and a proven ability to drive sales growth in a territory-based role. This position requires regular travel within the designated region to meet with clients and present our client's comprehensive product offerings.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve regional sales targets for industrial equipment.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through direct client engagement and prospecting within the Richards Bay area and surrounding regions.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
• Conduct on-site product demonstrations, technical consultations, and needs assessments for prospective and existing clients.
• Prepare and present compelling sales proposals, quotations, and contracts.
• Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to finalize sales agreements.
• Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports to management.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in field sales, preferably within the industrial equipment or machinery sector.
• Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong understanding of industrial processes and equipment applications.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport easily.
• Proven ability to manage a sales territory effectively and independently.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
• Proficiency in CRM software for sales tracking and reporting.
