Placements24 is seeking a motivated Field Sales Representative for the Randburg, Gauteng area. You will drive sales through direct engagement with retail outlets, manage relationships with store managers and buyers, negotiate orders, and ensure optimal product placement and visibility on shelves.

The role requires regular travel within the territory, a minimum of 2 years in field sales, and a strong understanding of the FMCG retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; tertiary qualification in Sales/Marketing is advantageous.
• Minimum of 2 years of field sales experience, preferably in FMCG.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities; strong interpersonal skills.
• Solid understanding of FMCG retail environment and Gauteng distribution channels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets within the Randburg territory.
• Build and maintain relationships with retail customers, including supermarkets, convenience stores, and wholesalers.
• Promote and sell FMCG products, highlighting features and benefits.
• Secure new business accounts and expand sales within existing accounts.
• Ensure optimal product visibility, shelf space, and merchandising standards at retail points.
