Job summary

ACDC Dynamics seeks an experienced External Sales Representative to manage a defined set of customers across the Eastern Cape. You will drive account development, present products, and close sales through proactive engagements in-store and at events.

You will collaborate with brand teams, analyze market trends, prepare quotations, and report on weekly activities while sustaining excellent service and long-term customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Understand marketplace relative to product offerings and client demographics
• Identify and capitalize on new product opportunities; position and brand products in client stores
• Collaborate with Brand/Category managers to develop product launches and customer days
• Liaise with senior management to ensure sales targets are met
• Analyse the market and provide feedback on key market and competitive information
• Train clients on products as required
• Execute sales strategies
• Generate new leads and develop existing customers
• Respond to customer enquiries
• Achieve high sales targets and goals
• Build new business relationships using industry contacts
• Give sales presentations to various audiences when required
• Manage employer expectations and client relationships with excellent service
• Provide feedback on improvements and market research
• Handle high volumes of emails efficiently
• Liaise with partners for exhibitions or customer days as needed
• Prepare and follow up quotations
• Attend sales meetings and share statistics
• Plan and submit weekly calls and activity reports
• Maintain customer accounts
• Attend ad hoc training sessions
• Saturday work may be required per roster
• Find and capitalize on new product opportunities and turnkey projects by positioning ACDC
• Provide exceptional service while managing employer and client expectations
• Compile precise calendar entries with summaries of sales calls
