Placements24 is seeking a reliable Farm Supervisor to oversee daily operations at a Vereeniging farm. You will lead a small team, manage planting, cultivation, and basic livestock tasks, and ensure work aligns with farm plans and safety standards.

The role involves operating and maintaining farm machinery, reporting on daily activities to the Farm Manager, and contributing to productive, sustainable farming practices in varied weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising farm workers or teams.
• Solid understanding of crop production cycles.
• Basic knowledge of livestock care and health monitoring.
• Ability to operate and maintain farm machinery.
• Good communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate farm laborers, assign tasks and monitor progress.
• Ensure crops are planted, maintained, and harvested per plan.
• Assist with basic livestock care and health monitoring.
• Oversee operation and maintenance of farm machinery.
• Uphold farm safety standards and enforce procedures.
• Report daily activities and resource needs to Farm Manager.
