Placements24 is seeking an Agricultural Operations Supervisor for a farm in Klerksdorp, North West. This hands-on role leads daily planting, cultivation, harvesting, and maintenance tasks, guiding farm workers and overseeing machinery.

The ideal candidate combines practical leadership with strong knowledge of farming techniques, safety protocols, and crop cycles relevant to the region, and will contribute to productivity and a stable work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising farm staff and coordinating daily tasks.
• Understanding of crop cycles, planting, harvesting, and crop management.
• Ability to operate and maintain common farm machinery safely.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise daily work of farm laborers and assign tasks.
• Oversee operation, maintenance, and repair of farm machinery and equipment.
• Ensure farming activities comply with safety regulations and best practices.
• Manage inventory of seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides; coordinate procurement as needed.
• Assist in implementing crop management plans developed by agronomists and farm managers.
