Placements24 is seeking a hands-on Farm Operations Manager to oversee daily operations at a growing agricultural enterprise in Rustenburg. The role blends practical farming knowledge with strong leadership to drive crop production, livestock management, and efficient resource use.

You will manage budgets, implement sustainable techniques, supervise staff, ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards, and maintain records of production and inventory.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of farm operations management experience.
• Experience in crop and/or livestock management.
• Leadership and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily farm staff activities (planting, harvesting, livestock care).
• Develop and manage the farm's operating budget.
• Implement sustainable farming techniques (water, soil, pest control).
• Oversee machinery, equipment, and infrastructure maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regs.
